I have been working in the creative field of entertainment design for over 20 years. Starting in 1989 I worked in a special-effects production studio, creating simulation-ride films, using miniature sets and models. During the next 6-1/2 years, I was involved in nearly all aspects of our production- including concept art/design and storyboarding, model making, set building, lighting, rotoscope and motion control work.
In the early 90’s I taught myself how to create in 2D and 3D on the Mac and PC. I joined Rocket Science Games Inc. in 1995. Since then I have been working in the games industry, primarily as a concept artist and environment modeler, although I frequently cover other areas of game development including texture painting, non-character animation, and UI.
